Learn Spanish in Buenos Aires , Argentina
83 Piedras Street, 3rd floor E, Buenos Aires, Argentina
It is important to approach your beginning Spanish learning endeavor with careful consideration, if you get started right you’ll see immediate significant improvements in your ability to speak with natives, which will encourage you and result in you gladly putting in the necessary time and effort, which will be well-rewarded because you’re putting that time and effort into the correct method that actually works because any truly “correct method” should specifically be designed to get you to converse with native speakers as quickly as possible. How do you do this, one might ask. The answer is quite simple, start off learning from native speakers. Ideally, you should take a course with a native speaker in a native Spanish speaking country. This allows you to learn the language while speaking it and correcting mistakes as you go.
The best way to learn Spanish is to speak it , that is why the best Spanish Language Schools use Spanish when they are teaching Spanish instead of using the student's mother tongue. Many language experts agree that the only way to learn to speak a language, is by actually speaking. Speaking is by far the most important part of developing your language skills. Most of us learn a language to connect with others. If you can’t say anything, you miss that connection. You can study for years, and master all of the grammar rules, but unless you actually practice speaking, you will never speak well. When taking Spanish lessons you will get the best results if the entire course is carried out in Spanish, and although it can be hard it is the fastest way to fluency.
One of the advantages of taking Spanish courses at Íbero is that you are immersed in Spanish from the beginning. Immersion combined with daily language lessons provides you with all the tools you need to learn Spanish quickly and effectively. You are exposed to Spanish spoken by native speakers, therefore improving your listening skills. In an immersion program, students gain a much more intimate understanding of the Spanish language than any online Spanish courses or non-native teachers can provide .This is because there is a great deal more to fluency than simple memorization of Spanish words and grammar rules. In fact, arguably just as important when it comes to conversing with native Spanish speakers is a form of cultural literacy that can only truly be gained by spending time in a Spanish speaking country.
I really enjoyed my time at Íbero and I am sad that I cannot stay for another week! The classes were interactive and the teacher was informative. He challenged us with questions but was also patient and provided us with great explanations. I feel I have grasped an understanding of verb conjugation and also improved my general knowledge of Spanish vocabulary. I am very pleased with the standard of teaching and the classes in general. Muchas gracias! Ruth Harrison, USA
The school perfectly mirrored my impression of Buenos Aires. The experience was warm, friendly and enjoyable. My teacher did an excellent job of motivating us to learn. Jason Herber, USA
This was my second time at this school. Great social place, it´s a very important element of the school. Michael Snarski, Canada
The Íbero Spanish Beginners 1 course was exactly what I was looking for in continuing to learn Spanish. Our teacher was fantastic and had the patience and knowledge to help us through this course. At least now I have some basic Spanish essentials to use for the rest of my travels through Latin America!! Christina Dudink, Australia
IBERO has an excellent working/learning environment. The teachers are fun and very enjoyable to work with and gives us a lot of time for us to listen to Spanish and helping to translate, which is extremely helfpul. The coffee is great! What can I say about Buenos Aires – it´s an amazing city with a lot to do and a great culture. Though having a different accent (for example: “ella” is said differently with a “sh” sound) is a little hard to get used to. Overall my experience at Ibero and in Buenos Aires has been amazing. Gracias. Nic Dudink, The Netherlands

The teacher for intermediate 1 was great – she covered a lot of theory with plenty of good conversation practice. The other teacher I had for the higher levels gave a great mix of conversation and theory, and I learned a lot of vocabulary. In general, Íbero has a flexible approach to taking classes. Friendly staff. Good facilities. Jemma Pymm, England
